The North Texas Groundwater Conservation District (the “District”) was created by the 81st Texas Legislature under the authority of Section 59, Article XVI, of the Texas Constitution, and in accordance with Chapter 36 of the Texas Water Code, by the Act of May 19, 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., ch. 248, 2009 Tex. Gen. Laws 686, codified at Tex. Spec. Dist. Loc. Laws Code Ann. ch. 8856 (“the District Act”).

Well Registration

Well meter readings must be taken on a monthly basis, within 10 days before or after the last day of the month. These can be submitted monthly, or collected and submitted at one time at the end of the quarterly billing cycle.
